Hi there, I am lucky enough to own three Jedson guitars, I have a 9000 six string acoustic, a black Les paul copy & a sunburst "true" strat copy, I love them all very much but have to say the Strat is still my favourite.Straggs
That's great Straggs! I would like to track down a nice 9000 or W137 but I am in the USA and shipping an acoustic safely across the Atlantic is costs more than the guitar itself.
Hi All, You can see a Jedson Acoustic being put to good use on Youtube if you search for "thefirststeps" (all one word)Best wishes.
Your blog keeps getting better and better! Your older articles are not as good as newer ones you have a lot more creativity and originality now keep it up!
Thank you for the feedback. I am glad you are finding the information useful. I know some things need updating, especially on the main site. I need to spend some time on it but am currently tied up with my real work :-) look for somw changes soon ...
I will not agree on it. I think polite post. Expressly the title-deed attracted me to read the sound story.
Hey, I listened to "thefirststeps" recordings and you guys sound great! Thanks for sharing. The Jedson sounds really nice too :-)
Amiable post and this post helped me alot in my college assignement. Thanks you for your information.
Hello there, was wondering if perhaps you had any information on my guitar, it is not a jedson but a dallas acoustic, not sure where it came from but believe it was bought in Glasgow about 35 years ago, great sounding guitar and bears an uncanny resemblence to a 12 string jedson i saw, from the finish, and bridge right down to the tuners and truss rod cover. any info would be good cheers. Dave
Keep on posting such themes. I like to read blogs like this. By the way add more pics :)
Thank you. I have a lot of updates to make. Will do so as soon as possible.
Seeing these kind of posts reminds me of just how technology truly is everywhere in this day and age, and I can say with 99% certainty that we have passed the point of no return in our relationship with technology.I don't mean this in a bad way, of course! Societal concerns aside... I just hope that as the price of memory falls, the possibility of copying our brains onto a digital medium becomes a true reality. It's one of the things I really wish I could see in my lifetime.(Posted on Nintendo DS running R4 DS FPost)
You have really great taste on catch article titles, even when you are not interested in this topic you push to read it
I am reading this article second time today, you have to be more careful with content leakers. If I will fount it again I will send you a link
It is useful to try everything in practice anyway and I like that here it's always possible to find something new. :)
Hi all,Does anyone know where I can source spares for a tele style B, looking for a tone/volume knob.Cheers Rob.
Hello,Several of the Jedson owners are looking for parts. I recommend you look at Fender and Gibson parts which are very close. The "True Tele" can use parts from the real Fender Telecaster. The other tele-style guitars have more "strat-like" parts. The real strat and les payl copies can use parts from Fender and Gibson respectively. I recommend you use parts that are from the same vintage (late 60s, early 70s)
